



BJ Magnets’ Self-cleaning Permanent Overbelt Magnet also known as Overband Magnet or Cross belt Magnet is a type of magnetic separator equipment used to remove ferrous metals and other magnetic related materials from a conveyor belt or other moving material stream. BJ Magnets’ series of Self-cleaning Permanent Overbelt Magnets are made with high-performance NdFeB rare earth, or Ferrite magnets – which consist of permanent magnet core, an unloading iron belt, a reducer motor, a very rigid frame, a driven rollers and other parts, used for variety of conveyors to adsorb ferromagnetic material from non-magnetic materials. With an automatic unloading iron device, the ferromagnetic material is automatically thrown out by unloading iron belt device, so as to achieve the purpose of the automatic unloading iron. Then an automatic belt-driven with self-cleaning mechanism dumps the trappings into collection bins located on the side of the conveyor.

The non-magnetic materials continue however moving along the conveyor belt, in which stance they get separated from the ferrous metals. Both the belt width and the conveyor speed can be customized to best suit your need.
The machine is imbedded with a very powerful plate magnet covered with a vulcanized rubber cleated belt and a shaft mounted unto a helical worm gear motor, which is also available in various voltages for simple hook up installation. The Cross Belt is used in the magnetic separation of ferrous materials from products to ensure a safe, metal free output. These powerful magnets are usually installed above conveyor belts, and draw the unwanted metals upwards and away from the conveyor belt to allow for uncontaminated production. With the self-cleaning ability, the belt removes tramp from magnets surface which minimize the frequency of shutdowns and maintenance sessions.

All our Magnetic Separator Equipment are designed, manufactured and supplied under observation of the principles of the HACCP International Food Safety Standard 0909MAGSEP 1-2010.
